Ultimately, VirtualBox will run any OS (pretty much). It is just a matter of whether or not the OS will recognize the virtualized hardware.

Yes but that was a beta verson of windows 98. Beta versons can be unstable. 98 SE was a fix of 98. I have no troble with my 98 se becouse i use the system tools.

VBox lags and eats up your ram. Not recommended. Mac use other software that they don’t need. Macs < Windows.

Hmm VirtualBox …
Hmm VirtualBox lagged a lot with me.. There was a few second lag between when I would move the mouse, and when the actual mouse on the screen would move.
I didn’t experience this with VMware, or Parallels.
Any ideas?

No, Linux = The most stable operation system in the world, but lacks software support and user friendliness. Great for Servers. That isnt the definiton of fail. Getting a higher quality product for free than windows, or mac for that matter is a fail.

virtualbox can run …
virtualbox can run vista, just make sure you have atleast 1gig of ram to give vista for itself or it would be pointless to use it
